Suffering from painful and heavy periods, I bought Oona PMS2 (along ith some other herbal remedies) as a last-ditch effort to avoid additional prescription drugs. I'm extremely pleased to say that it works very well for me! The key--and this is important-- is to start taking Oona a couple of days before you anticipate getting your period. If you wait until the cramping begins, Oona is helpful but much less so. I still need to take Tylenol or Advil to help with cramps, but I am not incapacitated like I was before. I've been using Oona for about a year now, and I endorse it to all of my friends! (Maybe Oona should hire me for this!) I suspect that it is the type of product that will work for some and not others so your mileage may vary. However, if you have severe cramps, it's worth a try! (Yes, it's kind of expensive, but when you consider that a prescription co-pay--and that's if you have insurance-- is usually $15-75, it's really not so bad.)
