I usually buy this at our local grocery or big box discount store; but I'm finding that I go through enough of it that it may be worth it to buy it in this 10-pack from Amazon next time. If you've ever scrubbed and scrubbed to get baked-on food off of your casserole dishes or temporarily forgot a skillet on high heat and were left with those seemingly-permanent black burned films of food (boy, I sound like a horrible cook, huh?), then you've probably ended up doing as I do by just leaving 1-2 stubborn dishes to soak overnight. The easy ones get rinsed and stuck in the dishwasher, the extras that don't fit get washed by hand, and the tough ones have to soak for hours. With this stuff, though, it generally only takes a soak of 5 minutes or so to get the crud off. I've found that I don't like to wait more than 5-10 minutes because this detergent seems to loose its "suds" quickly (or maybe it's just our water?). Anyway, it sure beats getting up in the morning and coming out to a sink full of cold, greasy water with floating food bits...and hopefully unstuck dishes. It's also great for rubbing into greasy food stains on clothing before laundering.

The only downside to this dishwashing liquid is that it isn't gentle on your skin. I don't mean to say that it's really horrible...just doesn't appear to have any emollients in it. I usually forget to wear rubber gloves, but I try to make a point to remember them when I'm using this stuff.
