In these venues (marked with a T symbol as shown), Mino captures the sound with its built-in telecoil. Select the mono option on your Mino for clearer speech. Balance Control sets the balance between the left and right ear so you can compensate for a more severe hearing loss in one ear. I have hearing aids and use a blue tooth Soundgate to listen to TV unfortunately to have a conversation I need to shut down the sound gate then open it again for the TV sound so its cumbersome.

This unit is described as being able to filter out surrounding noise and focus on a sound source i thought that would be ideal for both listening to TV and having a conversation.

My experience was that this device picked up and amplified all the peripheral noise 15+ feet away but did nothing for the TV speakers 10 feet directly in front of the device. I kept it for about 3 weeks and tried on several occasions to reread the instructions and reset the unit.

I was unable to get a response from the device when I made several attempts at the factory reset sequence and decided to return it.

The distributor did contact me to ask what the problem was I described my experiences, but there was no offer of a replacement or instructions as to what I may have been doing incorrectly
