Aura Cacia Peppermint Oil, 16 Oz. Bottle Review
I use peppermint oil in the pantry, the closets and across door thresholds to keep mice and moths and other bugs away (country life in an old house...). I mix the oil in a good spray bottle with water and a tiny bit of clove oil and spray it about. In the warm months I also spray it on myself and my clothes to - not as good as DEET or OFF but much gentler, and it cools the skin and smells good. Many other brands of peppermint oil are not the true peppermint, but another mint, which actually smells more like what we think of as peppermint. The other oils smell nice, but don't work to repel pests. This is a wonderful product, at a size that's hard to find. Don't spray in on your animals - it's too strong, but I occasionally spray their bedding lightly. And you have to shake the bottle regularly as you spray, since oil and water don't mix. Most of the consumer Reviews tell that the "Aura Cacia Peppermint Oil, 16 Oz. Bottle" are high quality item.
