I was shopping for a reasonably priced full encasing for my 9" thick memory foam mattress so I'm not forced to wash my thick cotton mattress pad every week to keep dust mites away. The Amazon site was silent about the depth so I looked this brand up on other sites where it was described for a "regular" 9" mattress so I ordered it. The manufacturer's packaging material did indicate it was for a 9" thick mattress. When I put it on my mattress, it was clearly meant to fit a much deeper mattress. I was tired so I tucked the excess fabric under my mattress, followed with my fitted sheet and gave it a trial sleep. It was soft and quiet and I didn't perceive any comfort or temperature differences. So far the excess fabric remains tucked and out of the way so unless I can locate this encasing or something similar in the 9" depth, I will probably keep this encasing. (Amazon offered a return label so I could get a refund.) This well-constructed encasing protects my mattress, protects me from dust mite allergy, and has a Lifetime Guarantee. If the size is right for your mattress, the quality seems very good for the price.
