The plate has a multi-layer paper construction for strength and rigidity and to help resist cuts, and it is suitable for lunches, salads, appetizers, and other dishes. The plate's printed green and brown leaf Pathways pattern coordinates with other Pathways line products (sold separately). The plate can be recycled at facilities that accept paper products containing food residue, and it is compostable in commercial composting facilities; such facilities may not exist in some areas. This plate contains approximately 91% compostable cellulose fiber by weight. It comes in packs of 125 plates.
