The Rotring Fountain Pen's triple ink injection guarantee's even ink flow and optimum restart.Rotring Initial Silver Fountain Pen Fine Point 48678 Review
This is a beautiful pen for the price.Pros:
Discounted Price.
Hefty Pen.
It is a smooth wet writer.
The pen feels strong in hand and it is all metal (for those who like that style).
The clip is really nice spring loaded.
Rotring claims to use a special technology which will stop any leakage in planes (didn't have a chance to check that).
Cons:
The all metal body makes it a heavy pen.
I have a Fine nib but I would not rate it as a fine line (even by European standards).
Some people have reported skipping (though I did not have a problem with it).
Overall, this is a great pen for $40-50 price range. It is listed at $95 and if you are spending anywhere near that kind of money there are probably many other options that you may consider. Rotring designs are unorthodox (sometimes little quirky) and to me that adds to the appeal.
