I bought this for my sister who was having difficulty keeping steady while walking. A cane didn't seem to work very well. She has fallen quite a bit and it was time to do something about it. She refused to get one of these herself, so I got one for her. She loves it. Now if I could only get her to use it ALL the time instead of just when she thinks about it.
