I'm not one to go out of my way to write bad reviews online, especially not for such an "intimate" purchase. But the Oden is so disappointing, I felt I had to review it to prevent others from getting stuck with it.

My partner & I have two other Lelo products (Bo and Lily), we use them all the time, and they are both excellent, well made, reliable and intelligent products. The Oden is, simply put, a dud at any price. At $100+, it's shockingly bad.

Like the other Lelo products, it's well made, but the design here is all concept-visual, and no execution-function. The most glaring problem is you can ONLY use the pleasure object with the remote. It cannot be powered on or used on its own. The issue with that is the 2-AAA battery remote very loudly mimics the quieter vibration in the object, a feature that also cannot be turned off. So you end up with double the noise and one hand always needing to be occupied with where the buzzing remote is--which is usually somewhere too close to the ears for comfort.

Finally, not to brag, but even if the remote could be silenced or left in the drawer, the open ring is far too short and flimsy when opened to hold the pleasure unit in place on a shaft with any circumference. Simply put, the entire apparatus is a mood killer

In summary: buy Lelo, but do not make the mistake of buying the Oden.
