After a knee injury at the start of the summer that's going to take the better part of a year to recover from, I figured going to the beach with the wife & kids would be impossible due to the necessity of crutches for mobility. Glad I found these. I'll admit, they were a little heavier than I expected, which took a few minutes to get used to.

However, the stability in the sand - wet or dry - was just as good as being on concrete. They never slipped once, and I covered quite a distance on wet sand, dry sand, sidewalks, parking lots, and even the dreaded wet tile in the beach restroom (they outperformed regular crutch tips in this scenario by far).

Being 250(ish) lbs, I go through normal crutch tips quickly. After a full day on these, there's barely a scratch on them; they are extremely durable. They're easier to install and remove than standard crutch tips as well; it took less than a minute with a bit of dish soap.
