You do get a far more intense workout using the poles vs. walking with no poles. The quality is superb and the Active Forever company is easy to work with. My shipment was lost by UPS and Active Forever was proactive, and kept me in the loop and quickly sent me a replacement shipment. I highly recommend this company and the Keenfit walking poles.
