I have bad fragrance allergies so I have to be careful what kind of soaps I use. I started having lots of problems with a brand that I had been using for years and a friend recommended Dr. Bronner's soap. I really like it and it's helped quite a bit with curbing the allergies but it really can dry your skin out. I live in South Texas and although we have lots of humidity for most of the year, during the short period of "winter" my skin is much dryer than nornal. I read other reviews about this soap commenting on how dry the user's skin was but it works to lessen my allergies, a little more hand lotion isn't a problem.

I wish it wasn't so darn expensive but buying in quanity on Amazon was cheaper than getting it from the high end organic based grocery store which was the only place I could find it in my area.

It's a good clensing soap, each bar lasts me about 5 weeks and most days because I work out, I shower 2 times a day. I recommend it.
