ProCare Plantar Fasciitis Night Splint - Small Review

I received this (exact brand & model) from the Veterans Administration for my heel spur induced plantar fasciitis. This came towards the end of a long treatment regimen which included anti-inflamatories (pills) - didn't do much, shots x3 the last one was the shot from h*ll - but really helped. My pain level at this time had descended from 8-9 some 8 months ago to 1 - 2 after the last shot a month ago - (the one from h*ll) - The last shot really helped ALOT - but still had pain level from 1 - 2. Since wearing this brace and stretching the soft tissues - I often have 0 pain! sometimes 1 or 2 after a long day (not wearing this during the day). It is uncomfortable - but not THAT uncomfortable - you can easily fall asleep - I often take it off half way through sleeping - also wear it when watching TV in evening. This certainly made a noticeable difference - I believe that I will see no pain and be effectively healed in the next 60 - 90 days. Would HIGHLY recommend - but would also denote if you suffer from extreme heel pain - best to see a podiatrist.

PS - no instructions were included in my brace - my podiatrist said to tighten the uplifting straps (long straps on the side) until you felt too uncomfortable and release tension very slightly - and to readjust (tighten) weekly - using same parameters.
